"Rats!" shouted Letty, inside the Hair of the Hellhound tavern.
"What about em?!" demanded Grim, mopping up a mess they'd missed last night.
"No, like 'dangit!' or 'flimp!' Yknow... one of the words we say when we're surprised in a bad way, here in Jeeje?" she responded. "But also, yes, the dead rats we were gonna sell to the meat man? They're gone!" she continued.
Blande, who it turns out was standing right next to Letty, surprised her when he spoke up and said "and no sign of break-in at all... how strange."
